Virginia's top Burlesque and Performing Arts studio, based in Richmond, VA since January 2010! Headmistress Deanna Danger brings weekly classes and workshops in burlesque, dance, fitness, theater, sewing, circus arts and more to the River City! With emphasis on self empowerment & personal growth, community building & standards, development & promotion of burlesque & vaudeville culture, Boom Boom Basics is the area's most dedicated school to "the art of the tease!"
Our classes and workshops are held at Dogtown Dance Theater, in Richmond's "Manchester District"! We have a variety of basic and concentrated burlesque classes, as well as an entire curriculum of dance, technique, fitness, and performing arts related classes. We have visiting and local guest instructors nearly every month (see the Guest Instructors page for info & registration) plus pre-register, drop-in rates, and private instruction!
